Organizational Trainings
Creating Safer Spaces
You won’t be asked to do more, but you may be inspired to do things differently.
During a virtual or in-person format, a training tailored to your organizational needs will provide you and your staff the opportunity to learn what goes into ensuring the organizational culture, individual and group spaces, and design of online and physical spaces are welcoming and affirming of all people. When clients are invited to come as they are, with their full selves, and experience unconditional positive regard, healing happens more easily and with less organizational barriers.
Trainings with Chris Vara
During the training, you will experience a safer space to ask questions and engage with material that will motivate you to recreate the welcoming and healing experience for others.
These goals are flexible and can evolve as we move forward in your journey toward healing and growth.
Trainings with Reina Ronquillo
Whether you want to strengthen morale, solidify a new team, or build a deeper sense of positive regard and trust among your team, Reina – a Certified Therapeutic Game Master – uses TTRPG (table top role play games) that creates the space needed for participants to focus on having fun, while she creates the context and scenarios that foster a strengthening of team dynamics without it feeling like work.

If you are feeling the weight of the work, would like to have fun, or want to build community, join Reina and other like-minded peers, especially if you are Queer and/or AAPI. If you are not, reach out anyway. Reina will be adding groups as people express interest, so let your voice be heard!

The following virtual groups are co-led by Reina Ronquillo and Chris Vara:
Eating Disorders
A 90 minute closed group once per week for therapists in recovery from eating disorders. This group will go for 12 weeks and be maxed out at 6 participants, so that the space can tend to all of us. The group structure will be alternating weekly between a shared meal and processing, and themed processing centered around topics. Structural changes will be made on a group by group basis in order to ensure that the unique goals and needs of participants within a group are being met. The cost is $90/week. Trauma
A 90 minute closed group once per week for therapists in recovery from trauma. This group will go for 8 weeks and be maxed out at 6 participants, so that the space can tend to all of us. The group structure will be a blend of talking/connecting, writing, art and activity. The cost is $90/week. Contact Reina and Chris for more information.

Minority Stress
A 90 minute closed group once per week for therapists dealing with minority stress. This group will go for 12 weeks and be maxed out at 6 participants, so that the space can tend to all of us. Depression & Anxiety
A 90 minute closed group once per week for therapists struggling with depression and anxiety. This group will go for 12 weeks and be maxed out at 6 participants, so that the space can tend to all of us. The group structure will be a blend of talking/connecting, writing, art and activity. Parenting While Practicing
A 90 minute closed group once per week for therapists balancing parenting with the demands of this profession. This group will go for 12 weeks and be maxed out at 6 participants, so that the space can tend to all of us. The group structure will be a blend of talking/connecting, writing, art and activity.
